I am going to see Adam West at an up coming con and I know he personalizes everything these days.

I am getting him to sign some 11x14's photos and really want to be able to take the personalization off.  Does anyone have any suggestions to to what pen to use that I might be able to take it off - with out damaging the photo etc.  Or is there a way to spray something on the photo that would allow me to take it off?

Just thinking... any help is greatly appreciate.

Please no.... use the Bat-invisible ink pen comments please. :)

I think it was 2 yrs now since the last time I saw him (Philly comic con). Hard to describe him. A little aloof but not a bad guy, not unreasonable. Ive seen him 5 times and really don't think you will have any problems. But please post if you do.

He's always been pleasant when I see him at cons.  His manager is a weirdo.

he charges $80 now at a shows. i'm a big fan of his but i'm not paying that price

I hear ya - it seems a little high.  I have never gotten to meet him - so I will be paying.

I have been in contact with the con promoter and he says "YES" Adam West always personalizes.  With the slight chance he might not…  Totally up to him.  So we will see..  :)

Yep. Every show I've attended where Mr. West was signing he ALWAYS personalizes. Never seen him sign without personalizing. Maybe you can slip his handler an extra $20 and ask him not to personalize... Who knows? Good luck either way.

Thanks.. We will see.. but looks like a given.

If you have a photo-lab developed mat photo, you can remove the personalization with Goof Off. Just make sure it's an actual photo-lab developed photo, such as Fuji or Kodak. It will remove almost any kind of pen used, like sharpies and paint pens. You can take a Q-tip and 'gently' glide it over the name you wish to wipe clean. It doesn't take much for the moistened Q-tip to remove it. The only problem, you will more than likely see the faint 'indent' of the signature onto the photo, from the placed pressure of the pen he used to sign. You'll mostly notice the indent of the signature from the pen tip, if you look at it closely or tilt the photo in a room lit area. Since photo paper is so fragile, it's something you really can't avoid from happening. Never use Goof Off on posters or home printed photos, because it will lift the ink used to print the item.
