cannot find Anne McDonagh in cast of Sonny Boy....but the Al Jolson auto is a keeper....

tim

The song "Sonny Boy" is from "Singing Fool". There's nobody associated with that movie, actor or crew, named "Anne McDonagh" or any other spelling, it's probably Anne's sheet music, she wrote her name and address on it.

Just to add, it's very common practice in the first half of the 20th century, for an owner to write their name and/or address on their sheet music. Because sheet music was generally carried from place to place a lot more prior to 1950, there was more likelihood of accidentally leaving it behind in one of the record shops, practice areas, or music stores of the day.

I've bought old sheet music in bulk, and gotten some gems out of it by doing so, and written names and addresses are quite common.
