Thanks Scott! Did you ever do a study discussion about Griffith? If so, could you send a link? Im definitely trying to learn his signature and this one looked the most different from the others Ive seen. It is from a good source but the occassion bad egg slips through I guess!

Hi Mike. Yes I have an Andy Griffith signature study under my Andy Griffith Show Collector's Group I will put the link below.  For many years the Linke signature was considered good by PSA and JSA among others.  So  you will often find those on eBay.  Signed photographs of Andy Griffith in character as Andy Taylor are extremely rare.  So if you see one of those always be extra careful. The most telltale in the Linke signatures is the backward slash of the "t" that is not present on genuine autographs. I doubt that PSA or JSA are still passing those signatures.
