Folks wasting their money on PSA and these guys can't even get Mantle signatures right anymore. No excuse for PSA on these.

I saw those last week,

If Steve Grad was still at PSA, those would not have been authenticated.

Evidently the new team is clueless on Mantle.

They really are clueless or lost any ethics they had. Mantle should be a staple of any TPA with the number of forgeries of him out there. TPA who can't authenticate Mantle is like a grocery store that doesn't carry milk.

This has always been my concern with TPAs. Even if they have reasonably good reputation at one time, who is to say they always will? People have paid huge premiums for that PSA sticker on their Mantles.

Exactly. And it's not like any other product where if the company goes south and starts offering something subpar or flat-out poor, the original items produced are still good, quality items. If one of these TPAs wrecks its reputation, it basically affects everything they've ever done.
