Hi, I'm new to this site but like what I've seen so far.  Seems like a pretty good resource for verifying and discussing autographs.

I'm wondering if any users have had any experience getting memorabilia from prizeo.com?  It is a website dedicated to contracting celebrities for charitable events.  The more you donate the more cool memorabilia (often times signed items!) you can get.  One donor per drive usually will win a chance to hang out with whatever celebrity is campaigning it.  Has anybody used the site, and if so, is the stuff authentic?  Especially the autographed stuff?  I like Will Ferrell and he has a campaign going now.  One of the prizes that I thought was too good to pass up was a signed cowbell from the SNL skit with Christopher Walken, where they parody the Blue Oyster Cult and Walken is a recording exec.  It is said to be hand signed and the had about 300 of them.  They sold out of those (I donated early on), but still have several of the other prizes.

Snoop just finished a campaign and one of the prizes was a signed rolling paper, no joke!

Here's a link to the site,

They are VERY reliable and credible.  Mariah Carey was just on the radio talking about her contributions through Prizeo and how the winners came to her house and performed.  Many celebrities use Prizeo to raise funds for their charity or cause and is one of the more reliable ways to get a autograph.

Awesome!  I had a feeling they were good but hearing from others is reassuring.  They don't have much of a description of the merchandise other than stating what it is.  I'd be nice if they made a little story of how the celebs hand-sign the items and why they choose the items they do.  Now that I don't really have any shadow of a doubt that the Will Ferrell stuff will be legit, I'm stoked to get it!!!  Who knows, maybe I'll win the trip to meet him too ;-).

It's a good service. Negatives are the photos are not 8x10 size and also nothing comes with a Coa.
Would be good if it came with Coa for resale value and limited edition status for example your cowbell.
