BABE RUTH'S SPECIAL PEN - THE TRUTH REVEALED?

A few days back, I started a discussion, asking whether or not Babe Ruth had a special pen made for him for signing autographs. I had heard about this pen from a couple of people, one being a pretty good friend of mine who thought he had read about it in a book, and had likewise seen it in a documentary. Well, he found the book, "PEANUTS AND CRACKERJACK", by David Cataneo, and the supporting documentation is provided.

Even after six years in retirement, the Babe was still the most popular person in America, even more so than the top movie stars of the day.
