"DEREK JETER" SIGNED CANVAS- IS IT REAL OR FAKE?

If anyone has any opinions on the attached picture feel free to comment.  It is a nice canvas painting/print of Jeter but I am not positive on the autograph.  It comes from an actual sports memorabilia shop that has good reviews and its own website/facebook page.  The autograph looks small in my opinion is kind of bunched up.  I also was wondering why it was signed so small??....With all that room you would assume "someone" would of wanted him to sign it a little bigger.

Sorry the picture I uploaded sucked so thank you for doing that.  I agree, in the close up you provided it looks too bunched up/sloppy.  If that were my cavas I would of been pissed that he signed it that small

Not authentic.. Jeter is a steiner exclusive, if its not from a steiner signing then it would have to be a street graph, and he's not easy to get. I doubt he's signing art murals in silver sharpies in a mob outside of his apartment. If he is, someone should have thought to take a picture.

Steve- it's 16x20. Thanks for the input and It's a shame because the canvas is badass

Mike- yeah I know he mainly only signs with Steiner but knew there was that slight chance it could of been signed in public. I Didnt think about it but, when I compare it to the one I have in my "Man Cave" the canvas auto just looks awful

Haha yeah exactly. Glad I didn't take the risk and buy it. The red flag for me that kept me from buying it (other than the sloppy autograph) was the guy was trying to sell it for 200$ lol... If it were real I'm sure it could fetch 600-800$ easily

Trust me, if I spent the time to go after Jeter, who is very difficult to get, battle the mob with a 16x20 art canvas without destroying it, and by some sheer act of luck have Derek switch to a silver marker when he gets to me.. I would charge you $200 just to look at it.
