The Authentic Experience
I just heard from eBay's fraud department that "court-approved forensic document examiners" Christopher Morales and Nick Burzyk have been banned by eBay!
Nothing offered with their authentication opinions is allowed, and will be removed—either automatically or upon notification.
Their names will be published on eBay's list of banned authenticators within the next two weeks—their Web department has a backlog of work, so it takes some time.
If you aren't familiar with Morales, read my article, Christopher Morales: The Forger's Best Friend
Thank you eBay!!!
UPDATE: EBAY'S LIST OF BANNED AUTHENTICATORS
eBay has updated their banned authenticator list to include COAs from Nicholas Burczyk, Christopher Morales and TTA Authentic (formerly STAT Authentic).
Here is the full list of banned authenticators:

Permalink Reply by DB on April 4, 2012 at 3:01pm and Kirk - with regards to the claims of 8 non-authentic walter johnson balls where some sold at major auction houses it states, " We showed these eight JSA-certified Walter Johnson signed baseballs to several experts who each told us that in their opinion, they would not be able to certify them as authentic. One expert thought that the ball shown in the second row, left, might be genuine. As for the images of the second set of Johnson balls, the experts thought they were genuine, but there was some disagreement about the example shown on the top row, right, which would need to be examined in person to render a definitive opinion."
SO WHO ARE THE SEVERAL EXPERTS? Huey, Dewey & Louie? To have a credible argument one must clearly identify who Huey, Dewey, & Louie etc.. are. One can't mask them and feel that the article has anything to it moreso that the SINGLE ONE that started the discussion that appears to be pulled from Ebay and that is sufficient enough without all the noise.
Kirk, The site is very interesting. I like when examples of forgeries in the market are given. We are a part of a hobby where cheating and forging is everywhere. Buyer Beware, I suppose.
