eBay seller rarity4uz needs a smell test

I don't care for what I'm seeing from rarity4uz on eBay. Check out an item like this one, and the picture of the item that I've uploaded below. While the movie that this picture is from, Maleficent, was just released, we're told:

"This item is part of a large estate sale. Part of a vast collection from an avid collector in Eastchester, NY. All items were stored in professional case cabins with humidity and sunlight regulators." Of course, we get an escape clause for that M.O., "I do ad(sic) some of my collection from time to time to sell here."
Maybe the 100% positive feedback will put your mind to rest, along with this: "Guaranteed 100% with a Certificate of Authenticity. A numbered label on back is data logged with the image so there can be no question that this piece of memorabilia has been tested." Images of the "COA" and label are not provided, but people are bidding on this, and the seller's other items. I'm not an expert with all of the signers, but some that I do know seem "shaky" at best.If I'm wrong, this will be your chance to get the signature of the recently departed Paul Walker from this seller for the current price of $5.50. If I'm not wrong, and I'd like your thoughts on this, how does one stop this kind of seller - at least temporarily?

Your suspicions are correct. The "estate sale" line is used by forgers/scammers as an out for when they get caught peddling trash. In the case of the Maleficent photo, it's especially laughable that a presumably brand new item ended up at an "estate sale." Please.

Yes, the "estate sale" line is a laughable ruse in many cases. Amazing how many old timers are passing away with collections full of contemporary and recently signed items!

Not sure why so many sellers use the "estate sale" strategy... perhaps to uninformed buyers it denotes an air of authenticity if it was allegedly sourced from an old collection?

Thanks everyone. I'll see if I can alert eBay to doing something about this seller. One of the great benefits of a site like this is that we can help to prevent people from getting ripped off.
