Funny Story....

So one of the first companies I bought Autographs from was the Odyssey Group who was run by Bill Miller (who signed all the COAs that came with photos) and I found out today this was purchased in 2000 by Collector's Universe who happens to be the home company of PSA/DNA.

I submitted a photo sold to me by Bill Miller of Odyssey to PSA/DNA and, of course, it failed.

So I wonder... and I'm going to find out soon... does PSA/DNA cover the warranty price of a photo that a company they purchased and that they failed sold me?

Will be interesting to find out.... has anyone else ever bought photos from Bill Miller/Odyssey?

Added photos - I've lost so much faith in the last 6 months of this hobby I no longer believe I have a single authentic photo. I think all sellers are shams.

Back in the 90s, Bill MIller/Odysey was a well-known seller.

I don't know the items in question, but I do know he had a lot of private signing stock. He used to be a major dealer for astronaut signed material... almost all of it from paid signings.

I doubt PSA will cover anything from the former Odyssey Group. I attended many of their auctions in the 90's and found a mixed bag -- alot of the stuff was legit but some fakes snuck in.

I don't know how they'll handle it. Odyssey Group was a separate corporation Collectors Universe bought around 2000, like Odyssey Publications was (I bought that from C.U. in 2004).

You can ask PSA's customer service and then ask Collector's Universe management if you don't get a satisfactory answer.

Oldman's graph was all over the place with strange slashes and shapes, sometimes a fully readable name with a larger O, other times small little o with a wrap around leaned over L . Pieces signed in the 90's never seem to match. The Ryder part of the graph posted here actually looks good, the start of Winona, that part is strange.

I wouldn't call either outright bad, but seeing the 2 graphs side by side in what appears to be the same fat silver paint marker.....well, if you ever collected autographs inperson, getting relative non-signers to take a silver marker in the streets, I think they are taking the cautious road and not stickering this piece.
