I'm not an expert, but I don't like Slash at all. Just search for the keyword SLASH in this forum. Here you are a couple of links of my fav pix

Then.

I don't even like the description of the item too...

INFO: Was signed in BARCELONA (SPAIN),  (2004 / 2005 & 2010) - COMPLETE INFO IN COA.
COA means absolutely NOTHING. Who is / are the authenticator(s)? My pc, Libre Office Writer and my keyboard?

HOTEL ARTS + HOTEL PERE IV + AEROPORT BARCELONA + HOTEL CLARIS
Did you follow the whole band EVERYWHERE? Yes. Maybe. But consider this.
Axl is totally f---ed up. If he's not in the right mood, he will even try to punch you in the face if you show him something already signed by Slash, or even something by the TRUE GnR.
Would you REALLY try to give him something already signed by Slash? I wouldn't even try...
In 2004 there was only Dizzy Reed with Axl...How did he find Steven Adler, Matt Sorum and Duff?

INCLUDED A PERSONAL SIGNED  CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
Are you - THE SELLER - authenticating this?

Thanks alot Nicole - I would not touch this one.... :-)

Sorum, Slash and Duff were all in Velvet Revolver, so getting them was pretty easy in 2004. Steven Adler toured his band Adlers Appetite almost nonstop for years, so adding him was really, really easy. So you get Axl first if you are truly concerned about the "won't sign anything Slash signed" thing, then pick off the rest via the other bands..

Terry G., I see your point but PERSONALLY I don't like the signatures.
I mean, Slash differs a lot from the couple of autos I linked.

Points of view.

I was responding to your authenticity point that the signatures could not have been gotten all the signatures without forging them due to them not all being together in one place. One always has to consider the fact that items can take decades to get signed in full due to difficulties with band lineups, etc. That, IMO, would NOT be a reason to dispute authenticity. As signatures vary over time, it adds even more difficulty in authentication.

In regards to Slash signatures, after 1996, he took to the habit of adding the year in which he was signing to the majority of his signatures. I personally asked him at a VR gig why he signed the year and he simply said "I get asked a lot to tell people if an autograph is real or not, and I can't remember them all, so I add that and it helps me figure it out." I accepted this reasoning, as I've seen it before, most commonly with Todd Rundgren who has signed that way for DECADES. If I were to dismiss a Slash signature supposedly obtained after 1996, I'd do it on the basis of lack of year signification. I don't know if the above item is authentic or not- my personal view, like you, is that the Slash is not, the Axl is not, but the Dizzy Reed and Duff are authentic. As always, if even one signature is in doubt, run for the hills, lol.
