Hi.  I have purchased a vintage autograph signed on an oversized album page and on the back  of the paper embossed  is the word Hamilto (without the final n) which is what I am assuming is missing because I can't work out what else the missing letter could be and underneath it (US) and I assume the A is missing which would make it USA

Is this a well known  quality/brand of writing paper or album page from the USA that would have been used around about 1940s ?

I have tried to do some research but as yet have not had much luck.
