You said, "you have every baseball player but Ruth". You also stated you got them from your father, grandfather and great grandfather. I looked at your photo's and commented.

I then alluded to your father, grandfather and great grandfather might be telling you whoppers......or you portrayed them in a bad light by lying. One or the other.

My collection while very light isn't full of the garbage you have. My prized items I got myself. Didn't get them from my dad who bought them at yardsales.

Don't waste time with this discussion! His autographs were all collected in person by 3 generation of his familiy. Everything he has is 100% authentic. Everyone else will have to deface or destroy their autographs if you give an opinion which he ask for. WTF!!!

Why would you need opinions if you got them in person?

Is the circus in town?

I'm not giving an opinion on the SRV. My question is simple:

Why would you ask for opinions on an autograph if you're 100% positive that it's real because your dad got it for you in 1989?

The only logical reason for doing that would be an attempt to prove to yourself that either your father lied about getting the autograph in person or that everyone who thinks it's non-authentic is wrong. I don't see the benefit of this to the wider collecting community in either case.

I am not up on SRV graphs enough to say for sure, although i see some things that i dont like right off. I have heard some negatives on field of dreams especially recently, but wait for other comments, im sure you will get some better opinions..

This is REAL.

Based on my personal experience, if you want an expert and focused review of a SRV signature then I would run it past Craig Hopkins at http://stevieray.com. He has an amazing amount of experience and insight around SRV and all things related. SRV had several different styles of signing, including variants in how he signed autographs versus personal affairs. Attached is a non-autograph example from from my personal collection.

i will say there was a guy for a long tome faking them very good from i belive near vermont .alot off his started with soul to soul

This one is REAL. It's My pride and joy. I have it on paper and a T shirt. I was standing with SRV when he signed it.
