Interesting Sean Connery letter to Steve Jobs and very high auction results

I was doing a bit of research on an ebay Connery that I missed recently (see first attachment below) and came across a couple of interesting things:

1. A letter that he supposedly wrote to Steve Jobs in 1998, which is attached (second attachment). It seems almost too good to be true - would he really have used "007" paper? I always thought he was almost ashamed of having been Bond. If real, it has to be amongst the best Connery autographs you could hope to have.

2. Some amazing results achieved by Connery autographs at what appear to be annual Bohnams Aston Martin sales. By way of example (there are many, many others), check out the following links:

https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/21900/lot/57/

https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23592/lot/35/

Unbelievable figures! Obviously sold to very rich car enthusiasts with no knowledge of autograph prices. Maybe Steve's hunch that the McCartney/Bono/Beyoncé signed Rolls Royce bonnet might go for silly money to an RR collector might be right after all. I'm sure Bonhams have sold loads of Connerys' at their entertainment sales for a fraction of the AM auction prices.

The ebay Connery is actually very similar to the third of the Bonhams' links above. What do you think? Went for peanuts by the way.

I think I might just buy up a few nice Connery's have them framed half decently with cheap repro stills and sell them at the Aston Martin sales!!! Nice way to "earn a few bob" (as we used to say in the UK).

The 3rd Bonhams piece is not authentic, neither is the letter. The ebay piece is dubious, but there is at least a shot with that one.
