Not to mention these authentication companies are tilted in favor of the seller. Don't believe their hype. They are not any better at authenticating then collectors of specific subjects. These places will gladly sell you an opinion but spend more time making sure the submittion form amount matches the money order than they do making sure the signature matches an exemplar.

I would never. I do not buy, sell or suggest any stickered item. Vandalism and free advertising. Apart from the color and size, just look at the placement of those stickers. I would not even have it on the back. I prefer to do my own collecting and all that comes with it. To me, the research and authentication, learning the signing styles and all else is the hobby.

I'm leery about sending my autographs away to be given a sticker. I sent a Clara Bow and a Buster Keaton autograph to a major cert company and they lost one and the other came back water damaged.

JSA is by far the worst experience I have ever had - 1st they told me a signed photo of Jason Witten had passed then a few weeks later I got a letter from JSA saying it was bad - What is even more worse is I watched him sign it in his football camp in Elizabethton, TN where he is also from and took a picture of him signing this exact photo. 2nd I took them a cast signed "Andy Griffith coloring book" which passed but they messed up the LOA - They said it had 19 signatures on the front which…

I showed both JSA reps this at the time of service but they did not listen or couldn't comprehend one!! Leave this so called autograph authentication company alone.
They charged over $600 to have 13 things authenticated as 6 failed and they told me 1 of them passed (Witten) and I am no better off now than before!!!!
Sending anything to JSA is li…tag:live.autographmagazine.com,2017-04-06:3524372:Comment:10563332017-04-06T00:24:27.348ZRick Meyerhttps://live.autographmagazine.com/profile/RickMeyer
Sending anything to JSA is like throwing your money away. Those guys have been awful for years. Average collectors have better opinions. Only thing that keeps them relevant is all the sticker collectors who at one time valued them would stand to lose a valuable collection if they were to admit the truth about the JSA stickers they bought over the years. So they will argue in favor of them to no end.

Do you have a photo of this jersey and scan of the photo? Is the jersey being shown signed by Ryan in the photo? That's probably the only version of a photo that could count as evident "proof" of Ryan signing the jersey. Even then, the TPA (in this case, JSA) needs to use their exemplar library as the guide for whether to pass or fail items. If you really feel you have a gripe, email Spence directly and send the same photo of the jersey and the photo of Ryan signing the specific item. If you have a legitimate concern, I'm sure they'll listen to you. After all, PSA will reconsider fails when presented with evidence of why their employees were incorrect to fail the item.
