Is there any chance this mantle ball is a forgery even though its jsa authenticated?

I'm brand new to this. Have been collecting mostly hockey memorabilia for most of my life and decided recently to expand to signed baseballs, namely 500 homerun club balls to start with. I bought this mantle with full jsa loa but have since questioned its authenticity mostly because it's a bobby brown Costa Rica ball and from the research I've been doing I found that's typically the most commonly forged mantle ball. Just wanted to get your opinions on the autograph and wondering if anyone's come across jsa or psa authenticated balls they believe to be fake. Here's the link to the ended auction not sure if it'll work but I can post pics of the ball if not. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

nothing wrong with that Mantle ball, in fact it is very nice.

That's great to hear. Thanks a lot. Also picked up an amazing ted williams ball and hank ball from same seller. So basically if I stick to psa, jsa or Steiner stuff I can't really go wrong I assume. Looking to get all 500 home run club ss balls. About half way there minus 3 big ones. Is there anywhere on this site that members buy and sell?

yes there is someplace on here for buying and selling. with Steiner, you cannot go wrong (as long as the cert is legit, and not bogus).

with the others, mistakes are made. but not usually on Mantle, Williams or Dimaggio. they are pretty much spot on with those.

in reality, you should train yourself on the signatures that you want to acquire. or put something up on here and depending on what it is, you will get opinions that you can trust.

The hank Aaron ball I have has only got a Steiner hammerin hank hologram on it but no paper cert. I really didn't do any research on that one since the mantle and williams were jsa and psa respectively. Is there usually a paper cert with Steiner stuff?

This Mantle is no question authentic. PSA/DNA and JSA do a great job with "The Big Three" (Mantle, DiMaggio, Williams). I have only seen a couple that I considered questionable IMO.
