Is this ebay seller legit? (most likely not but I would like your opinions!)

Here's the seller's past listings...

And here's the Mad Max Poster I bought on a whim. For my defense I just got done watching the film so I wasn't thinking straight...damn that movie was good. lol

Stupid mistake on my part. The seller claims the poster is from Cannes...even though there's a MPAA rating on it. It also has the usual holographic sticker that sets off warning signs. And don't get me started on those signatures...they're all signed at the exact same angle. @_@

No good.

Too make it worse, the seller shipped the poster loose in this ^

It goes without saying that the poster didn't survive. You'd think he'd make it less obvious that his posters are completely worthless...

I forgot to mention that I'll be using this discussion for my ebay case so please feel free to get into detail on how these are (obviously) fake.

Just open a case and I'm sure you'll get a refund, none of these premier posters are authentic, it's one of the largest scams on ebay at the moment.

Wow...look at what he just sent me...

"How are you doing I apologize for the inconvenience I bought the madmax poster from a very reliable source so the poster is authentic. What I can do for you is I will give you a full refund right now contingent upon you leaving me positive feedback! I'm be awaiting your response. Again I apologize for the inconvenience"

I thought it was suspicious that the box and poster it came in seemed to be purposely damaged. Once he sent me this message, I don't know, is this a case of mail fraud?

"no that is incorrect, I respond to all emails. Like I said before, you can believe me or not, I got this poster from someone I believe to be a credible seller, and I resold it. I do not mind refunding you, but I insured the package, so I need it to turn into the post office for the claim, they will inspect it and see if it is authentic or not, and then issue me the insurance claim if it is, but either way if I’m issuing a refund I need the poster back, thats how returns work. Look at my feedback, I do not sell a lot of things, and am not trying to go over on anyone, I bought a few things for resale, thats it."

Why else would he ship it in the worse condition only to fully insure it?

Terrible fake and the seller is offering a refund simply as they know the poster is a fake and hope you won't warn other it's a fake. Either open a case and then leave negative feedback after receiving your refund or accept his refund and leave negative feedback then. He is breaching eBay's terms and conditions by offering you something for positive feedback

I agree with Dan, take your refund, then do as you choose.
