Ya know, the more I think I know Joe D's sig, I realize I don't 100% of the time.  I've stared at this one quite a bit, I've compared it to my exemplars, and although some parts do some "sloppy" (which is good in Joe D autos), I just don't like it. I don't like the "D" at all, the beginning of the "m" looks slow, the "g"s are identical.

Anxious to hear other's opinions on this one. It's certainly not a "no question authentic" for me, and it's certainly not a "no question forgery", it's in the middle for me.

I certainly agree.  I've seen so many Scoreboard DiMaggios that look authentic.  In this one, the a and ending of the last name looks good, but certain parts look a little different.  At first, I say authentic but the more I look at it, the more I question its authenticity.

Yeah I think most of it looks too neat and my gut feeling was "Not Authentic" and I'll just let others share their opinions and learn from this one.

I think its authentic, although I do see why you are concerned with the D.  I have seen others shaped like this, and he varies certain parts of his signature depending on his mood.  but the "g's" are actually what have me leaning towards authentic.  most of the forgers do not form the loops this way.  

Mike, if you are not comfortable with it, then let it pass. there are others on ebay that are no brainers, that are a little more money, but in better shape.

I compared it with a few others, and I am leaning more on the authentic side.  The M and g's made my convinced of its authenticity as I saw a couple of JSA and PSA examples where the M looks the exact same. I also like the ending, with the "o" and the dots look in place.  I'll post those examples when I find them somewhere in my computer

I am going to quick opinion it to see what PSA thinks.  I'll post their decision here when it comes back.  Thanks guys!
