Hello . I was is new york for a citytrip in 2013. Being a beatlefan I went to a fleamarket to look for records.Found no good records, but I saw a stand with posters etc and a lot of paper things.there I found this little paper with some writing on it.It said john and yoko and a date and adress.I could see it was handwritten and I knew John would always write john+yoko instead of john and yoko.So i bought the little paper and took it home.So investigating the piece I became pretty sure john wrote and drawn this. What do you guys think of it?

Sorry I don't think the writing / printing is by John. John's writing is quite a bit different from what is on your drawing.
Well I have compared the piece with some excisting pieces of john.the first thing is the nr 8 .he always starts in de left upper corner.second the style of the J .third the style of drawing.
Here are some photos

Here are some other examples to compare to your item. I still don't believe it is written nor drawn by John.

Let's see if anyone else will offer an opinion. I'm sticking with my initial thoughts not by JL.

To me, this does not look anything like a John Lennon self portrait or drawing. While I understand your hoping it is, I agree with fab432, it's not John. Or even close to John.

Well it isnt a selfportrait . Its done on look trough paper. I know he had that kind of paper with him. Because he use to write stories on this kind of paper. In 1976 he had the album shaved fish out.So its overdrawn from the album or promophoto. But I understand its no doodle or something.by the way its about 4 inc by 3 inch. Very small. But the added style of filling in the drawing is like in the other photos.like the thickening of the line.Back to the lettering. Look at the J of john .I found a form he filled in.
