I guess I will start by saying that I am not a Nirvana fan but there seem to be tons around.  I had a friend who met Kurt and basically said that after a show, he walked right out of the front door of the arena and lit a cigarette.   He wasn't a hard person to access from the stories that I have heard.

At any rate, I found this video and thought it would be a cool watch for Nirvana fans.  Basically a video of Kurt Cobain signing autographs.   This isn't a video of my friend, but rather people I don't know....but it seems to lend credibility to my pals story that Cobain was a good autograph signer.

There's tons of forgies about filling the void off the nirvana market.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. He did not appear to be "full" of himself at all. Just one human being being kind to another. Nice guy.
Nearly all Nirvana and Kurt autographs for sale are fake.. Kurt did sign, but was a shy person and wasn't always easy to talk to to sign. Unless somebody engaged in a dialogue, he would walk into a venue or wherever he was going.

Those that got his autographs at that time were true fans of Nirvana who were attending Nirvana concerts. They were not collectors or dealers who were just there to get his autograph like what is happening nowaday.

Nice video. Lucky boy who will have a great birthday memories for the rest of his life.

Cool, video, doesn't prove he was a good signer, its one autograph, and Kurt seems a bit uncomfortable IMO. It was almost like the token autograph he has to give as he leaves so he doesn't look like an ass. Once he gets mobbed no one can blame him for walking away.

I read the kid was sick and that's why the roadie was hooking the kid up with a set of drum sticks.
