Hi guys,I'm sure you all remember this picture I bought over the summer.I was thinking of getting it framed up real nice then I thought about possibly having the tear fixed and the top right corner redone.the tear is about 3"long running on an angle from johns right arm through his body and going through his face.its not to bad the worst part of it is that the previous owner used scotch tape to repair it.it is still on their.
I called Jaime Mendez and emailed him pictures ,we spoke about it for about 15 minutes and he said it was not a big deal at all and he would be able to repair it very nicely.
I did not commit yet because I'm coming to you guys for your opinions.Jaimes take is that the repair would not devalue this pieceat all because it is no where near the sigs.i think I agree with him.I can ship it to him In the morning,he said he can have it back to me within 10 days.again stating that this is a very easy repair.
What do you guys think.....do I leave it alone or do I restore it.
Here are the closeups of the areas to be repaired.thanks in advance guys!!

I personally feel that as long as it doesn't affect the signature s then a restoration is fine.

I vote for repair it. Super signed photo!

I agree. There's substantial damage to the image that isn't near the signatures. I would hope that the signatures won't be affected.

I would do it,and you can trust Jaime to do a good job.

Thanks for all the input guys.he assured me that there was no reason to go near the sigs.I do believe it's one of those pieces that would really benefit from it.

I would also have it repaired if it were mine.           Jack...
