eBay member curtsnow claims that he had this ball signed by Mantle in 1964 at Fenway Park. It's truly amazing that he was able to get Mantle to sign a Bobby Brown American League baseball 20 years before they were even being produced!

Hello,

I was on ebay and there was a link to a Mickey Mantle signed ball, I clicked on it and was directed to a "Saks Fifth Avenue" link.  It's also in their memorability section.  It was advertised as a Steiner Signed Mantle Ball for $2000.  You can see it clearly, and zoom in as much as you want.  I tried, but couldn't grab the link or copy the picture to post here.

I wish the knowledgeable Mantle fans here would take the time to look at it.  It looks to me like the classic, slowly written "Milkey Mautle" I've read about here.  It also says it's PSA, DNA.

Please take a look.

Is it this? It is good, just insanely overpriced.

and not the best Mantle you will see either.

I went to your link but it didn't show the ball (just clothes ads, I couldn't pop off) but it was the collectables section, so I'm sure it was.

I thought for sure it was bad, I'm not as knowledge as you guys, but aside from the "C" and "N" the pen flow seemed really slow and deliberate.

I guess what made it look slowly drawn was the texture of the ball.

Sorry I couldn't post the photo, Thanks for taking the time to look, and your input.

Jeff

when you go to the link, type in Mantle in the search field.  same thing happened to me, the link took me to a site that had dresses etc.  but I got creative.

Isn't the ball in some sort of incense burner? Appropriate that it should be in an object meant for burning...
