Authenticity is Everything
More questions about Presspasscollectibles. Are these Mick Jagger autographs real?
Now I know they do sell a lot of legitimate stuff. However, do they ever try to mix in some non-authentic items that they are confident that PSA will pass for them?
Check out these two Presspass, PSA/DNA authenticated Mick Jagger autographs. The first I believe is legit, while the second, I think not. But they have several more Mick's that PSA has okayed for them as well. Where do they get so many Mick's?

Oh my gosh, Wascher, it's even worse with Michael than Mick! Much worse. I remember noticing sometime ago that Presspass had a "few" Michael's, but since I recently purchased a Mick I had been noticing the Mick more. I bought a really nice Michael signed LP more than a year ago. It has an LOA from Roger Epperson.
But get this: I just counted 29 Michael Jackson, PSA/DNA Presspass, signed items currently offered on eBay! And most of them have a very similar style. I'm not so sure they're authentic. Well...I am certain some of them are not.

I said it before and I will say it again I wont do business with presspass, I don't trust them. They were selling a George Harrison card that had been implanted in a white album on another thread. Yes im a broken down record.

I have read that they do buy legit stuff and flip it. So I figure its mixed bag what they sell. They do seem to have an "in" with PSA. I would beware.

What's disconcerting to me is this. I'm afraid that with some sellers, like maybe Presspass, PSA gets say one item from them of a particular, dare I say forgery style, that PSA decides to pass. From that point on, when they get more of the same style, they reference their database of "known exemplars" and find that yet another one has come in, and it matches a "known authentic exemplar". And from that point on, PP is good to go ahead and load up inventory. Scary.

Press pass buys up a lot of the certed stuff on eBay and they flip it, they have a lot of authentic stuff and some stuff I wouldn't touch no matter who certed it. They spend tens If not hundreds of thousands of dollars on third party authentications, it shouldn't be shocking to think they get special treatment. Just know what you are buying and don't buy blind, it shouldn't matter who you're buying from.

Definitely. And yes, I've seen them flip authentic stuff, which they have every right to do. But, like you say, some stuff is questionable regardless of the sticker. It just bugs me when PSA/DNA states "...which we thoroughly examined." Sometimes, yes. All the time? Definitely, no.

Yep they also claim by a "panel of experts" which is never the case either. I guess "briefly examined by one of our employees" doesn't have the best ring to it.

They also issued several Elvis card sets with a number of cards that was supposed to feature patches of different clothes Elvis wore. Now I am thinking that may be even be bogus.
