More WOW! items from Chris Morales...No that's not the Good kind of WOW!

A few days ago, I was sent to the amazingly criminal Coaches Corner site to opine on a Dale Earnhardt item ( which was a total fake of course ). I decided to look into the current offerings from Chris Morales to see how careful he is being of late.

The 1st thing that really made me laugh was this:

It's original lot is here: http://myccsa.com/Lot.aspx?LotID=267781

Next, Came this:

It's original lot is: http://myccsa.com/Lot.aspx?LotID=267830

Then this wonder:

It's original lot is: http://myccsa.com/Lot.aspx?LotID=267863

Obviously, none of us need to be a "former Secret Service Agent" or a Court Qualified Forensic Expert to connect the dots here.

The sad and rather silly part is that the autographs are not what drew my attention to these horrible forgeries ( each authenticated by the shining Knight of the court: CHRIS MORALES ). I will leave that to the proper experts for each genre represented.

Look at the crisp new / like-new material that was used.  How in the WORLD could these people who run CC and even Morales himself think that people would buy such TRASH? Oh, that's right! PEOPLE ARE BIDDING!

This is how damaging these corrupt businesses and experts are.

This is why Morales is banned from ebay and regarded as a menace to the hobby.

Again, I'm not even talking about the autographs...That's where it gets even worse.

Obviously, I could have shown more. But why would I need to?  This is what CC & Morales offers month after Month.

Thankfully though, the truth is coming out. No matter how hard Chris's friends and backers at ANL and Autograph Alert ( Koshal inc. )  try to defend him, He just can't help himself from "authenticating" items like these.  A person with average sense would know better. Much less a forensic "expert".

Right?

Coach's Corner has two Morales-authenticated Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio-signed baseballs this month.

They had one last month, and Antiquities has or had one for $22,000, at the same time, both authenticated by Morales. Don't know what the one at Coach's Corner sold for last month, but it was around $500 when I looked at it.

Yet the only Monroe/DiMaggio baseball authenticated by PSA/DNA or JSA was hammered at Heritage in 2006 for about $192,000 with buyer's fees.

Here are the ones offered at Coach's Corner this month [click to enlarge]:

There's a bigger problem with one of the baseball's shown here...the one supposedly signed by Joe & Marilyn in Korea in 1954.

It's dated 2/17/54.

Joe & Marilyn were in fact in Asia.

That is about a month after they were married.

They'd gone to Japan on their honeymoon and faced crowds of fans they never expected.

Marilyn - at the request of the US military - took a side trip to Korea for a few days to entertain our troops.

But she went ALONE!

It's odd because this is a relatively well-known story.
