This signed Harry Truman document was sent to my Dad during WWII.

I have all but one of the surviving members of Doolittle's Raiders plus some that have passed on. Several included short letters telling of what happened to them after the raid.

An Earhart would be a neat item to own, my most "historical" autograph is probably John Babcock, Canadian WW1 veteran, He was over 100 when he signed for me.

I have a real cool military one. It is sad though. I really don’t want to scan it to put it on the site though because it’s also a real personal letter. The Capt. of the submarine said some real personal things about himself. What makes it interesting and sad is when I read the letter it stopped in mid form. All that was said in the middle of a sentence is “Sorry I have to go bad things are happing” I looked at the date on the hand written letter and it was dated on 09-11-2001. I thought to myself that’s crazy he was writing me a letter when the attacks started. I received that letter on 09-18-2001. It is not old but I still think it’s a historical type letter.

Well I'm in posession of 25 unique envelopes, every signed by each of the participants (without observers) of the Belgrade - Yugoslavia conference in 1961. when Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was founded. Each participant signed one envelope, and among them are:

Marshal Josip Broz Tito of Yugoslavia;
Saeb Salaam of Lebanon;
Prince Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia;
President Adan Abdullah Osman of the Republic of Somali;
Lieutenant General Ibrahim Abboud of Sudan;

Trying to put together a small Civil War collection so far I have free franked envelopes signed by Jefferson Davis and A.Stephens checks by D.Sickles and J.Wheller a calling card signed by W T Sherman a close of a letter signed by P T Beaugard and just picked up a 4 page letter by James Longstreet these are my favorites by fae cause I 'm a big history buff..

I have the first page of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade signed by Justice Harry Blackmun who authored the opinion for the Supreme Court.  Got the signature in person when I was in Law School and he came and gave a presentation to my class.  I think that's pretty historically significant and interesting.
