Tracks uk deal in Beatles.

Hi, yeah looked on that site, am looking for auctions apart from ebay if possible?

The next one for tracks is September.

Ok thanks, didn't realise they had auctions, so there isnt any uk aution sites you could recommend just for general music/entertainment autographs?

Bonhams is also considered to be generally legitimate, if you are looking for UK only.  I believe that Christie's also holds occasional sales there as well.  You might save yourself a lot of VAT, if you are a UK citizen, by buying items from a U.S. or other non-UK based auction.

Hi, ok thanks, any non UK ones that you know of?

There are many here in the States, but you will find differing opinions about them from reading the boards here.  Heritage is usually pretty legit.  RR Auctions is the subject of a lot of controversy right now, as you may have read, but they sell a lot of autographs.  Many things these days go direct to ebay.  There are actually legitimate sellers there, as well as many thieves.  There are a lot of threads here about known bad sellers, and you can always post a picture and get group opinions here about the authenticity.  Frankly, between the various members of this group, and their particular areas of concentration, you are probably likelier to get the right answer vs. sending it to a TPA.

Ok thank you for your advise

just check on heritage, no items up for auction for around 2 1/2 months, any others that you can think of that are not too bad in us?

If you are looking to buy Beatles I would suggest searching eBay and utilizing Roger Epperson's quick opinion on any you feel have a shot at being right.  For Auction Houses In the UK (where I am based) Bonham's and Tracks as suggested are good, Frasers are OK, but you may wish to get an account on a site like Invaluable or The-Salesroom which are a 'catch-all' for many auction houses (as you sometimes find the provincial auction houses get a Beatles piece or two).  If you are buying from the US you need to remember the cost of import and postage can add a fair chunk onto your purchase, and each place has their pros and cons for buying and selling.

Remember though - If you are just looking at buying then it really doesn't matter where the piece is from, it only matters that the piece is right.  So the further you cast your net in searching the more likely you are to find the right pieces for you.  To help you know whether the piece you see is right or not you can ask the good people here for their time and assistance and/or utilize a reputable quick opinion services like Mr Epperson for music or PSA for sports.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ACCOUNT IS NO LONGER VALID, IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME, PLEASE SEE PAUL JONES PROFILE, MR CYRKIN IS AWARE OF THIS, IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS, IM SURE HE WILL BE ABLE TO HELP. THANK YOU.
