Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. Stephen Duncan has referred to this as a 'win-win' situation. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

I was about to ask if he was going to personally stamp it, but I figured I shouldn't be a smart ass.

Valid question!

Ordered one as well. Hopefully didn't pay nearly $250 for a stamped signature!

Honestly, I doubt it's a stamp. In all likelihood, it's authentic. But, again, I'm wondering what out of the set is actually signed. Maybe it doesn't matter that much.

I hoping it's the album. But, would be happy if it's the cd.

Thanks so much...just ordered one..im sure these will sell out fast...someone already has 2 listed on ebay for 775 dollars each...

Thanks! Ordered!

Thanks! Also ordered!

I just had to take a chance.  if it is hand-signed, at this price for Page, its a bargain!

It will be if not stamped, I would think they would promote them as stamped if so. I see people selling his stamped books for a couple of hundred dollars with pictures of him stamping them. Makes me scratch my head!

thanks as well…. just can't let this one slip by...

Mark

Honestly....way over priced IMHO. It's not even his music. He produced the record. If it was JP music or LZ that would be a different story. I know others will argue this point. I'd like to have it of course but can't justify price tag.
