Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. Stephen Duncan has referred to this as a 'win-win' situation. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Yes i can actually add a few to that list. Im taking some from my personal experience and some from threads i have seen by others.

I know that Taylor Swift occassionally sales signed Cds on her website, i havent checked recently though.\

Gregg Allman sometimes sales signed posters although expensive and currently sold out.

Bon Jovi normally runs deals on signed specials. Last Year i bought a circle signed program, signed by all, that included a necklace made from guitar strings that either richi or jon played while on the tour, but pricy, it was 200.

Doug Aldrich of Whitesnake sales signed pics on his website.

Greg Howe, virtuoso guitarist sales signed items on his website.

John Petrucci of Dream Theater sales signed items on his website.

Scotty Moore, famous guitarist, sales signed pics on his website at great prices.

Good lucks,

Chris

That is a wicked list you've provided.

And as you mentioned recently, John Fogerty has been selling his photo biography, posters and vinyl bundles through his website (http://www.johnfogerty.com/)

Just ordered a John Fogerty signed baseball on his website. Thanks for the heads up

$99 on the Bon Jovi website for a band signed program.

THAT's a good deal.

Hey Guys you can Add Trisha Yearwood to the list.

Thanks for the list Chris.  I just ordered signed photos from Wanda Jackson and Scotty Moore.  Good stuff!

Now I think it's a minimum of 2 for $10 ea from Scotty Moore's site. They used to be $8 with no minimum. It's still a good deal from the guitar player that changed the world. They come sent right from his long-time secretary who I believe he mentions in his book.

From the Scotty Moore website (www.scottymoore.net/)  They had been selling them at $10 each with a minimum order of 2. I wish I would have known about this when it was available.

We had to suspend this activity last October and after much consideration have decided that we will not be able to resume.  We apologize for any inconvenience but we will not be able to take any more orders for items, autographed or otherwise nor can we arrange to have any of your own items autographed.

No exceptions.

Sorry,

James Roy

Add Jerry Lee Lewis to your list. This is done through his wife's Facebook page.

$100 per autograph. Make sure if you send money that you do not get it personalized. If you do multiple hands are at work on the autograph. Just tell them you want Jerry Lee Lewis' signature and nothing else on it. Mark Roberts can confirm this as well for you all.

Lord have mercy.
