Hello community, this is my first post. I am seeking opinions on the attached Lennon signature. This is one of four signatures on an album (no the other three are not Paul, George or Ringo) but they are cool non the less. I will ask opinions on the others after some opinions on JL.

THE FOLLOWING BACKSTORY IS LONG, READ ON IF YOU ARE INTERESTED BUT OPINIONS IS WHAT IM ASKING FOR. THANKS.

The backstory on this and about a dozen other signed albums I picked up as a collection is: I collect (and sell at times) records, I answered a CL post for records w/ signatures. This middle aged couple were selling this these as records with signatures, not signed records (if you see the difference) they wanted a $ amount per records and a discounted price for the whole lot. The price per was extremely fair, even if they were records without signatures. They were not trying to sell JL's signature for this much and this record for that much. They said they were left the task of cleaning out the estate of their uncle that was an "executive" in the music business. They said they weren't sure what he did and they would not give his name. They were NYers (as their accent was the same as mine 😀) I figured it all made sense. Much of the music biz in done in NY. Many NYers retire to Florida (where I am) and pass away. They said they knew these were probably worth something but were only interested in passing them on. If all of these signatures are real, they are worth $, lots of dead rock stars but I bought them because there were album not in my collection and if the autographs are real, BONUS.

Not real IMO !

Thanks. Thou this is the one signature I was hoping is real, out of the collection I bought, can say I'll be terribly upset if it's not real. I didn't have this LP & at least I get to listen to it (It's Bowie's Young Americans if you didn't recognize it) Thanks again.

Sorry, but it doesn't look authentic to me either.

Thanks for looking.

I can only see "Lenno" but not good.

Eric

Refresh, I fixed the picture. Thanks for looking

In my brief research, I've read that artists have different signatures at different times... this would be from 1976 (or there abouts) if that makes a difference.
