O.K. Art fanatics....Are these Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse signed drawings authentic?

These are not the typical autographs that we see here. Still,  Are the autographs above authentic?

DB go to my page and look at my blog Muhammad Ali Fake.

I bet the owners and managers of PW are sweating bullets. Just like the autograph forgery industry is starting to. The forgers and those who knowingly sell and authenticate them are dead men walking. A lot of them are going to end up in prison...some I'll bet for decades.

they are also on NCL.  Ahh, the weight test.  Wait till Theresa, there service person  point person,  starts with "international waters" yadda yadda yadda when all else fails.  If you have a "reputable" opine or two then stay the course.  Nonetheless, I spotted one that I also believed didn't quite look right (actually 2) and it had just been after a great discussion here on AML.   Unfortunately, one of the contributors has gone into self-imposed exile.   Also remember.  that regardless of who you have opining to the contrary it is just yours -vs- theirs.

Don't they say they receive theirs driectly from the Ali Foundation or Center.  I believe that is what they were spouting....

Glad to say, that Kras boarded the ship at one of the ports and although I didn't ask to see his ID, I'd have to believe the Kraz's were real or it was the greates hoax of all time.

Yes that is exactly what they say, only signed for them....from what I gather they sell some fakes and play up their real stuff to make people believe they are worth so much more. We bought some art on there too, I'm happy to say. We have Kraz. I talked to Theresa, she is going to join us. We should learn a lot more from her.

barry, do so in the standalone thread I created at Steve's request.  The link is above.  I also posted my response right abouve yours so just copy the response above over there as well.

I contacted the Fine Art Registry regarding these items as well as several others that I have posted elsewhere on this site. This is the reply I received regarding the Art sold by Todd Mueller in 1999-early 2000's.

Hello, Brandon…

Thanks for your email and for your kind words of encouragement to keep up the “amazing work.” It’s great to hear we are appreciated.

These pieces would have to be fully researched. However, at first blush, they all appear a bit naïve to me, meaning that none of them appear to be by a master hand. The descriptions do indicate they are all “original” in the sense they are in pencil or whatever medium that is stated…but it doesn’t mean they are original works by the hand of the artists referenced. Isn’t it interesting that they all just happen to be “original” works? In my opinion they are all unskilled, inexpert renderings. If these were truly authentic they would do very well at Sotheby’s and Christies. They wouldn’t be selling at some online auction (if indeed it was an online auction). Keep in mind too, that every single one of these artists are the most faked and forged in the entire industry—all of them are deceased and the sellers usually know that the prospective buyers have little chance of contacting or retaining world experts to determine authenticity.

I would have to research Mueller (I have no idea who he is or what his reputation is) and a few other things such as the “Edgar Kaufman estate” that is referenced in some of the auction descriptions. It’s interesting that the description does not give any detail whatsoever who Kaufman is or why anyone would care if these pieces source from him. The description is pretty much silent on any kind of solid verification as to provenance and I assume no documentation was provided to the buyer on when, where and how the artwork came into existence.

Overall, the descriptions of the artwork and the artwork itself gives me great pause—alarm bells are going off and there are numerous red flags flying. In any event, they would all have to be confirmed by world experts to confirm inauthenticity rather than authenticity—actually, it would hardly be worth doing as they are not serious works of art in my opinion. If I were to wager a guess as to what our experts would say right now—I would say they are all fakes with forged signatures. But that’s just my 2 cents. The Dali, however, is most definitely a fake with a forged signature in my opinion, which could easily be confirmed by world experts – in writing!!! Mueller states that he guarantees everything he sells as authentic and will refund if he receives an expert opinion in writing. Interesting. He may end up regretting this statement as to some of the artwork he sells.

Frankly, they all appear to be strikingly similar and quite possibly done by the same hand. But again, this is just my 2 cents.

Kind regards,
Teri Franks

Hopefully, The buyers can get refunds from these since they are guaranteed refundable.
