Hi folks,

My dad was recently (finally!) sorting through his 40 year old record collection and he handed me a Lynyrd Skynyrd "Second Helping" LP record, the cover has been autographed by:

Ronnie Van Zant

Gary Rossington

Allen Collins

Ed King

Billy Powell

Leon Wilkeson

Bob Burns (has signed twice)

The record itself states it is a "Factory Sample - Not For Sale"

The band autographed this record in 1974 while staying at the Queensway Hotel, London.

My grandfather (my dad's dad) was working there as a porter at the time. It was signed for him and he then gave it to my dad. It's been sitting in a giant record collection ever since. It's in excellent condition and has never been played.

Just wondering what it's worth, if anybody knows?

(Pictures can be uploaded soon if they're needed)

Thanks!

My dad definitely wants to sell, payment via a bank transfer (amount is too much to send via PayPal). I think, based on Roger's estimate, he's looking for at least $3,500.

Anybody interested? Feel free to PM me or contact my dad directly at sidneyjk@tiscali.co.uk

My dad is till looking to sell this record :)

Roger valued it at around $3,500. My dad is willing to accept offers of at least $2,750.

Payment would be via registered/insured cash to the UK or a bank transfer (amount is too much to send via PayPal).
