OSCAR TAVERAS dead........Now watch the scumbags poor the forgeries on eBay

You will see so many new listings for Oscar Taveras tomorrow it won't even be funny.  These scum will drive to Wal Mart and buy a bucket of baseballs and have them all forged out just in time to catch all the people looking to get one for their collection.  It's a shame.

Funny how eBay seller machobeans magically has 10+ Oscar Taveras "autographs" and cheap cards:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/machobeans/m.html?item=231371115427&has...

that is a forgery.

180 days from now nobody will remember who he is. Those who shelled out for his autograph authentic or not will be stuck with that stuff.

Rick he might hold some value. Had he played a few years in the pros like Munson his stuff would be flying right now. For.the most part I agree with you. His auto will never be worth more than it is right now. In a year it will be 20 bucks

I think your right. A year from now folks will be asking $20 bucks for him and not selling any. Might hold a little for a St. Louis fan but he will largely be forgotten. Munson was a popular Yankee. Yankee players are in their own category and the exception to the rule..

I think he Taveras falls in right below Nick Adenhart. Just not a large market for a player who never really established himself.

Ebay seller machobeans is nothing but a coward and should feel shame for what he is doing
