Peter Sellers - advice and opinions please

Hi,

I got these two Peter Sellers I recently bought, whats your opinion?

I have my doubts about one of them in particular. I just wanna own a real Sellers, hate those forgery people....

Anyone know of real Sellers on sale right now?

I'm afraid the news is not good. I don't believe either of those are genuine Sellers. Here's my Sellers letter from 1972, you can see the confident way he signed, even from this pic I took on my iPad. The two you've posted don't share the same traits. I hope you didn't pay too much for them!

If it was me and I wanted a genuine Sellers I would be looking for a document like this one from Marcus Brandes.

I would highly recommend Markus Brandes as a dealer and his fantastic web site. Try www.autograph-market.com or simply google Markus Brandes. Just got a full line up of Black Sabbath from him, absolutely fantastic!!! He has a huge celection, you can also put your requst on the waiting list and he'll get it for you (if it's only possible, you might also wait for a while). Cheers, Dmitri.

I've got one that was signed for me right around the time the film "Being There" had come out.
It's in kind of bad condition from sitting in a photo album but I'll post it here.
I also posted a question about the Sellers autograph and some others I have.
I forgot to add that when I was removing the autographs from the photo album I accidently cut right through the Sellers one which was on the other side of the page,ugh. I taped it together on the back but not over the signature itself.
Just realized how old this post is, thought maybe you're still interested
