Quick opinions, as far as i know are only for items that are on ebay.  Why can't you get a quick opinion on something of your own?  I've put a little thought into this and came up with a way around it  ...  i think.  Could'nt you just list your item on ebay and request a quick opinion on it yourself?  If you really don't want to sell the item, could'nt you just list it for an astronomical price that no one in the right mind would pay for it thereby ensuring you don't lose it in the auction?  I've never sold on ebay so i'm not sure exactly how it works but does anyone know if there is an easier way to to this or are quick opinions just a waste of money??

As far as I know, yup...you can do that. PSA/DNA offers their quick opinion service for all auctions now but i think the rate is $10 instead of $7.49. Should say on their website.

Quick Opinions are pretty accurate. If you're buying it's a real benefit.
Steve, I love ya but I disagree....They are erratic and so very one-sided.
well Brent I have sold some Nascar items on ebay and never ran into the problem of a quick opinion. as for your other issue best bet is maybe see if you can find another item signed by that person. You would be suprised to find maybe a couple of items signed by that person and you can compare it to it. also try the internet. found some other articles that talk about having some other examples of drivers who have signed things that are real so try that also.
i guess the truth is you can never really tell. I have a tigers team signed jersey that looks great except for one sig. that of brandon inge. I have actually met him a couple of times and his sigs. seem to be flawless every time but for this one on the jersey. I'm almost tempted to take it to florida with me this march and ask him if there is any chance, he would have signed like that.
If you want to know if NASCAR items are real, just post send images to me. i am the Official NASCAR authenticator for eBay, Global Authentics, & Write for this magazine. I don't charge anything to authenticate.
hi brandon i bought a barry sanders autographed card on ebay a few months back and i was wondering if you knew somebody on ebay that can authenticate it or anybody else who would might be able to help me with that. i appreciate any help you can give me thanks.
the easiest way to sell stuff on ebay is to overprice it and have it listed as buy it now or best offer that way you will get lots of different bids on your item
Ebay: If your going to list your item for a quick opinon, price it at $.99 in the collectibles catagory, right now it's a free listing. Scan or take at least 4 macro photos, make sure they are clear. Get your opinon and End the Item, with or without bids makes no difference. You can cancel the auction up until there is 12 hours till the end. Even if it were not free right now, the most it will cost you is $.80, don't be a scared....
