Beware Sports Forgeries eBay seller goldgloveauthentics 100% SCAMMER Now: superbowlauthentics14

Whaddaya know, another "The Auto Scouts" forgery ring eBay ID in disguise!

Avoid eBay seller goldgloveauthentics (Changed their eBay ID to "superbowlauthentics14") like the plague. Same crap forgeries I have exposed 100 times, same "description background" as nearly all "The Auto Scouts" accounts I have exposed.

These crooks don't lay low for too long, eventually they take new avenues and do whatever they can to keep selling JUNK to moron buyers on eBay. Looks like their new scheme is to mix in 1% authentics with 99% cheap forgeries. Amazing what eBay lets this forgery ring get away with.

Typical "Comes with COA and sticker!!!!" bullcrap which the wannabe autograph collectors juts love.

Take a look at this Puig:

eBay forger goldglovesauthentics  now known as ebay forger  superbowlauthentics14 items are so bad not even Global Authentics will authenticate them. Never seen Global reject an item...

LOL. YIKESSSSS!

Just goes to show too, that they DO watch what you put out here.  Someone had questioned that a few weeks ago.  If they didn't have you on their tail constantly there would be no need to have this many names in a years time.

This is interesting. Here is a Puig forgery listed by eBay seller pi_kapp_76 , when you look at the "COA/Hologram" it is from "Gold Glove Authentics"!!! Looks like this is the "COA/Hologram" eBay thief goldgloveauthentics, (now superbowlauthentics14) puts on his junk fakes! (and refuses to show pictures of in his auctions)

This guy is seeing every word about him here on AML.

"This guy is seeing every word about him here on AML."

lol that's right.

You must be costing him a little bit - new stickers every couple of months, new COA print outs.  (just a drop in the bucket though on his income on this garbage)

Guaranteed to pass any 3rd party authentication process.

The Puig forgeries are still out of control on eBay, here is a Puig forgery listed by eBay seller theatticsportscollectibles ironically enough, this comes with a "Gold Glove Authentics" COA. LOL.

I want to thank you for this post. I am not a sports nut, but I have a Niece who is and I purchased a Certified Yadier Molina Autographed Baseball on eBay, it was going to be her Christmas present.

When I received the ball the COA stood out as being cheap and something anyone could print of their own printer at home. It also surprised me that when the ball was shipped it was put into a plastic bag with the COA and shoved in a manila envelope. When the COA came, because it was put in with the baseball and not protected it arrived creased and bent. This was suspicious. The other thing that was questionable was that the hologram was (carelessly) put over part of the 'Rawlings' ball name. Maybe this isn't unusual, I don't know, but all these things caused me to search online for the company that authenticated this ball (Gold Glove Authentics) just to verify my purchase was for the real deal. I found no such company and at that point still hadn't found your post. I contacted the eBayer and was very detailed about all these points. I asked for the contact info or website of the authenticator. I received three messages back for the one message I sent him (trying to hard?) and they were are very short with no real info and a apology.  He did, however, flub when he stated in the message to me that the ball was received during a trade and came with that certificate, so he has no information, however, in the eBay posting he said the ball was obtained by him and his son during spring training. So, obviously he's a liar. Then I looked at his eBay profile (I know, something I should have done originally), he's received 2 (positive) feedbacks since his account was started Oct. 26, 2014.  The kicker? HE HAS 36-LIVE POSTINGS, ALL FOR AUTOGRAPHED SPORTS MEMORABILIA. So, I guess he goes to a lot of spring training sessions, hopping from city to city, just to sell a ball for $40 that (I realize now) should be going for at least $125 w/COA.

I dug deeper to try and find out anything about Gold Glove Authentics and that is when I found your posting, the only one out there that I could find. While I am not an expert, I believe that this is a forgery. I cannot be sure KeithFightingIrish is the same person seller with a different user name, but it's possible and his name should be out there for others to be aware of. I will open a case with eBay and get my money back & I am also going to send a link to your site to the two other people this guy sold to who gave him a positive review.

One question for you, is the company Gold Glove Authentics a real certification company and this guy (presumably) just faked his own certificates & halograms, or is there absolutely no legitimate company authenticating and doing business under that name?

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR POSTING & I HOPE ALL THIS OTHERS!!!

Well, Rebecca, thank you for your comments and honesty here.

In my opinion, Ebay is the most dangerous site to buy autographs for those who have no knowledge and experience with autographs.

There are probably thousands of scammers (Ebay sellers of forgeries) on EBay at any given time.

Those scammers count on the fact that the majority of people who buy autographs have zero knowledge of autographs and that's why the scammers are so successful on Ebay.

They print a bogus Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) and it impresses the masses that have zero knowledge of autographs.

I've been exposing Ebay sellers of forgeries for over ten years and I will continue my work exposing the scammers.   Ebay has profited millions over the last twenty years from the sales of forgeries.

This is why we expose sellers of forgeries.

There are a ton of great people on this site who stick their neck out to expose sellers of forgeries.

You may not want to "hear" this, Rebecca, but the scammers count on people like yourself to stay in business.

People have this notion that Ebay filters out forgeries.  They do not.  Ebay has profited millions from the sales of forgeries for the past twenty years.

Good luck.

Hi!

Oh, I don't mind hearing what you said. The truth hurts but, it also is knowledge. So, where should I go to buy a true auth ball?

What about this site: http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4188352  I take it this is the true MLB site and I can't go wrong here, right? But, where would I go to keep the cost at more around $100, IF POSSIBLE. ;-)
