Some of the Beatles Lp's are worth more than signed copies.

Imagine the Beatles 200 years from here.

wonder how many were made? to me this seems almost as valuable as a beatles played guitar or set of beatles lyrics. What do people think?

IMO It's biggest selling point is it's place in Beatle history, apparently being the disc (or one of) that Brian (who's handwriting is on the label) used to secure their recording contract through George Martin. Musically there's nothing unique or even what collectors would call rare on it.

Personally I can think of other records that I'd rather have, a fully signed album for instance or even a very nice 'Gold' Please Please Me Uk Stereo LP but that's just me. I believe there is still a disc of The Beatles Demo'ing a track for another Liverpool artist for which no other recording of them singing that track exisits. I can't recall what it is off-hand but I think that would be pretty cool to have.

good point and good info on other recordings out there. Signed records are one thing, but to me there is no other record like this on earth. I cant think of anyone, Sinatra, elvis, miles davis, etc where such a find would be as great, that is me though

Elvis first recording on vinyl sold for much more.
Jack white bought the 78 rpm of Elvis.

I didn't know. What is story behind elvis 78? Only one? or should I keep my eyes open?

1953 recording of My happiness to acetate, only one in existence sold for 300.000 us

There was almost no press on this in the US before the sale.

US dollars would have brought the price up if better publicized
