Very sad to have just seen Robin Williams passed away.  His publicist said he was battling depression as of late but did not confirm suicide.

I`m heartbroken,  Robin Williams was one of my favorite actors.  Good Morning Vietnam has got to be my favorite movie he made.

Sad R.I.P Robin Williams

A real shock. Had the pleasure of meeting him the 1990's and he was a funny off screen as on. A real genuine loss.

I am sad to see one of my many heroes fall. Depression is a silent killer of many comedians, mostly shadowed by self medication and/or accidental overdose. I really am heartbroken for his family and the many lives he touched with his humor and generosity.

Now that we've had a little time (not that its any less painful to think about), would those of you who have his autograph please share yours on this thread?  It would be nice to see what his real auto looks like.  Please only share if you got these in person (or have strong proof), so that we know we're looking at genuine autographs of his.  Hoping this helps some people see legit ones.

it's been three months since his passing and still my heart hurts when i think of him.  i went through some very, very rough times several years ago: a sickness that almost killed me, and my mom passing away.  through those times, his stand-up was what kept me from falling into a very dark place.  i watched and listened over and over again until i could literally recite his act word for word.

i was heartbroken when i heard of his death; without ever knowing me, or without me knowing him, he helped me through some of the worst days of my life.  i wish i had been able to thank him.  the way he helped me is the reason why i'm trying so hard to find an authentic autograph to buy that won't break the bank.  i won't ever be able to tell him just how much he meant (and still means) to me, but one day, i would love to at least own a small memento of this wonderful, generous man.  R.I.P, mr. williams.  <3
