How scarce is the autograph of William Genaust?  On February 23, 1945, he stood beside Joe Rosenthal atop Mount Suribachi, and filmed the raising of the U.S. flag.  Nine days later he was killed in action.  Unlike Rosenthal, who lived to see how famous his photo was and was a generous signer for 60 years before his death in 2006, Genaust never made it off of Iwo Jima.
