SHOULD I BE BLOCKED BY JULIEN''S FROM BIDDING?

Fact is, I went to Juliens recently to bid on an item I really wanted, and discovered I have been blocked from bidding. I was dumbfounded since I have bought $10s of thousands from them and always pay. I called their billing dept to make sure I was current. I was. Finally, I was told to email Mr. Julien himself to straighten out. I never did cause when you have to go to the head of company to be allowed to bid, something ain't right. I am guessing that “something ain't right” occurred in NYC a year ago when I was involved in a lawsuit against another company. And that company's lawyer hired Mr Julien as an expert witness. I had expert witnesses too, including people on this forum.. Now The Judge ruled in my favor so it wasn't a frivolous lawsuit So even though I won the lawsuit,, I have no debt to Juiens, have won and paid for many items from them over years., yet I am still blocked! Am I being punished for winning the lawsuit against a company that Julien testified for? What should I do?

btw- would have bid twice as much as what item I wanted sold for. Hurts me but also consgnor.

I have no idea what your lawsuit was about, but my guess is that because of your suit, they consider you litigious and a risk. The fact that they testified for the other side probably increases the risk you may become unhappy with them in their view.

Not saying it's right or wrong, but it's the only explanation that makes sense.

good point i had not thought of.. But 1 lawsuit where i won monetary damages Julien is familiar with,  and no   prior problems with many prior Julien's purchases? Seems like I am a good financial risk and have bid up on many things i did not win ..... enhancing my value beyond my win items

My suggestion is to email Mr. Julien himself. Don't mention the lawsuit issue but rather explain you have been a good customer of his and would like that to continue. You have nothing to lose by contacting him and as long as you stay positive it is very likely he will change his mind.

In retrospect, this makes sense-will give it a try although I don't expect to hear back.  will let you know wht hapened,

If Mr. Julien is a smart business man and he has a past customer who always paid on time, never complained, and it polite her would be a fool to drop them. Unless something in the courtroom happened that attacked him personally. Of course, it's always about the money trail. Perhaps Mr. Julien was the original source of the item in question.
