I just picked up this 8x7 signed photo of Grace Moore, the Tennessee Nightingale, who died in a plane crash in 1947. I believe that her actual name reads "Grace Moore de Parera" as she married Spanish actor, Valentin Parera in 1931. The person I got it from said that she signed it with a fountain pen and it was originally acquired via auction from the Trevor Vennett-Smith Auction House in Nottingham, England, in 2001. I have tried making out what the message above her signature says, but I'm having a hard time since it is written in a dark part of the photo. Most of her autographs are just "Grace Moore" so I wonder if this one was more personal or to a friend or something since it has her full married name? Thoughts?
