Telly Savalas and Peter Graves

Just won these two 60s tv icons at auction and was now having doubts about at least one of them. The Graves I'm thinking perhaps looks good, although I've never seen an example with the double lines underscoring it before. The Savalas, however is starting to look to me like it was written by a more feminine hand, and I haven't seen an example where he ends his final 's' like that as well. Also the initial 'S' looks fatter than usual? Just wondering what you guys think. Thanks!
