Good!!!

Hello, I'm with The Memorabilia Vault. We just came across this discussion and wanted to clarify a couple things. First I would like to say that I appreciate that there are collectors openly discussing these subjects. I think it is good for collectors to openly discuss things that are going on in the collectors market. We have been collecting for a very long time and our specialty is Michael Jackson autographs and memorabilia. We have a very large collection of Michael Jackson items and have collected and reviewed thousands of pieces of Michael Jackson memorabilia. In regards to the few items that were on EBay back in October we would like to explain that all those items came to us with certifiication by Global Authentics, which is an EBay approved certification company. After the items were removed from EBay we contacted them, they reviewed the information and certifications in our listings, approved the items then put the items back up for auction. I would like to explain that we typically put any items we buy through an evaluation process by not only using our own knowledge and doing our own comparisons but then we also have other industry known experts review the items as well. In addition we know that the items that were up for sale in October also passed authentication by Roger Epperson and PSA/DNA because some of the people who bought those items later sold them through auction companies that use Epperson and PSA/DNA to authenticate the items in their auctions. One of the items we had up for sale at that time is now up for sale in an auction and has Roger Epperson and PSA/DNA authentication as well. I also would like to let you know that we will have our memorabilia and autograph auction website up and running within the next couple weeks, the website address will be www.thememorabiliavault.com. All the autographed items will come with authentication from well known industry authentication companies such as JSA, PSA/DNA, Roger Epperson etc. Thanks TMV

Well its hard to tell anything b/c the items in question are no longer visible. So at this point anyone can say anything about who certed what and where the items are now. (not saying the items from your company were bad). Unfortunately it doesnt appear that any of the MJ autographs that were in question were saved when the thread was started. So as it stands no one really will know about those items, b/c both parties would have to agree that those items (the items that started the thread) are the ones that were in question (the real items that were questioned and not a substitute), and its been so long, that i highly doubt Don or Eddie would remember. I dont mean to sound negative, but i have seen such substitutions many times before. Of course thats not saying that went on here or not. In this case, its been so long ago, and since their were no original photos posted, we just will never know.

So we can only go by the current inventory.

Another question. Why were the items removed from ebay. Was that something you did on your own accord, or maybe the auction just ended? But from the comments, it seemed like they were reported and that ebay took them down.

We have photographs of all of our items. Someone on this dicussion board must of reported the items to EBay. It's very easy to have items removed from eBay all you have to do is click on the report item tab in the listing and eBay will remove it quickly usually without any verification. The person that had the items removed could of just contacted us and we would of gone over any details with them. After the items were removed we contacted eBay, they reviewed the certifications and info in the listing, then relisted the items. There were only a couple items for sale at the original time this discussion started. We sold some items before and after that all with certifications from well known companies and never had a single issue as shown by our 100% positive feedback. We would of responded sooner but we only recently came across this. As mentioned some of the items were later sold through auctions and now have Roger Epperson and or PSA/DNA authentication. We have pictures of the items before they were sold and have copies of all all of the original listings so there is no way of any substitutions. One of the items that we listed at that time is a signed Michael Jackson drawing which is now currently in a an auction with PSA/ DNA and Epperson authentication. Once www.thememorabiliavault.com is up and running you will be able to see the type of items we sell and the certifications we provide which will all be from well know companies. Once the website is up and running we will let you know. Thanks
