I have a slight opportunity to possibly get Paul McCartney to sign an album.  I am thinking  about going with  Sgt. Peppers.

Here is the question -

Would you go for a not so perfect original stereo copy (do not have a mono copy) or would you go with a perfect newer reissue Mono that they just came out with??

Original with flaws?

or

Reissue perfect?

thanks with your opinions.

Again.... let me reiterate..  This is a SLIGHT chance that it will happen.   Everyone knows how hard it is to get Sir Paul.  I waited in the cold for a couple of hours and got nothing this past year.

Fingers crossed, toes crossed, everything crossed....

I appreciate all the input!!!

Anything autographed by PMcC is epic stuff! :)

I will be trying (again) myself when Sir Paul makes his way to Toronto next month. I have had various results over the years with him, but am looking forward to the challenge. If all goes as well as the last time he was here I will be a happy camper. If he isn't signing Beatles items I will have to go with the Ram or BOR album.

Let us know how it went! As for me, I went with brand new vinyl reissues (Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road, I know it's cliche!) back when I met Sir Paul in 2013.

I will let you know… its a long long long shot.   But wanted to be prepared is all.

thanks

Mark
