The version of Who's Online?/Chat we're using may be slowing the site down too much. I'm going to turn it off and test the speed with the old version, which does not have as many features.

Please bear with me as I test it! And let me know what you think.

The old version works better for me. I was getting errors and it was freezing. When Eric and I were chatting I would get script errors. I also got message when I tried to do a google search while online that they needed me to verify if I was human as there was unusual activity. Really strange. No problem now with the old version again. Just going to add that I like the old version better. Thanks for all of your efforts Steve as I really enjoy the board and all the friends that I have made. I also really appreciate all the help that others have given to me.

The old chat version seems to me easier and pops up not that I use it a lot. Speed overall seems fine now.

By the old version, you mean the one active now, right? It's the one we used exclusively until December 2015.

For some reason, it looks different right now it seems fine the way it is.  Maybe it is just I am on firefox and not chrome.  Seems fine now in any regard.

I personally like the way it is right now but, there are probably others that use the chat more than I do.
