Comment by Jeffery Kite on February 16, 2013 at 5:00am: Got 3 great responses yesterday. First, Bruce Benedict signed my 1986 Donruss card. Bruce was a catcher for the Braves from 1978-1989, and was an All-Star in 1981 and 1983. He set a major league record in 1982 by throwing out 3 base stealers in 1 inning. Next we have Sid Bream. Sid was a first baseman for the Dodgers, Pirates, Braves, and Astros from 1983-1994. He will forever be remembered by us Braves fan for "The Slide" in Game 7 of the NLCS. And finally, Alexei Zhitnik, former defenceman for 5 NHL teams from 1992-2008, signed both of my Thrashers cards, and threw in an extra Buffalo Sabres card. Nice day for some of Atlanta's most revered sports stars.
