Diana Ross will be doing a concert in Durham, NC this Friday. This is close enough for me to give it a try, unless she is impossible. I don't want to drive over an hour to waste my time. Has anyone had any recent experiences?Continue

Here are several of my New Harrison Ford autographs from his latest comings and goings in NY. Thanks to my friend Mark who works long hours to get these for me.  Great example of his current in-person ( street signings ) variations.

And this gem, Which has recently had Carrie Fisher added now as well.  WHOOHOOO!

Cee Gee, I will do my best, buddy. Not too savy on all this computer stuff, but I think I have way I can finagle it. David, that is an awesome pick up! I am getting a few HOFers together to get mailed out, and hope to get some really special pieces soon. That sucks about Jose. You know, he was one of my 4 favorite players coming up (the others being David Justice, Bo Jackson, and Ivan Rodriguez.) I have always kind of admired him, but I'm finding out more and more disreputable things about him that leads me to be disappointed in him.

Jose Canseco was also supposed to be at the show but he cancelled at the last minute for the second time.  He told the promoter that he had a neck injury and needed surgery.  It was later discovered that he was in Las Vegas partying it up with his girl friend.   What a loser!

Last weekend I got a couple in person autographs from Senior Committee nominee for the Pro Football HOF Dick Stanfel at our local monthly Card show.  Dick was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2nd Round (19th overall) in the 1951 draft.  He played right guard four years for the Lions and three years for Washington.  He was first team all pro five years and made five Pro Bowls.

Hey Jeff...damn its been a real long time since I got anything in person ...but have got Brian Jordan TTM many years ago...could you post yours so I could compare it to mine ?...I got another request pending now for him him many years back...

Last weekend, I got the in-person autographs of former baseball players Howie Bedell and Brian Jordan. Though he only hit .193, Howie is best known for breaking up Don Drysdale's 58 2/3 consecutive scoreless inning streak in 1968. Brian, who also played safety for the Atlanta Falcons in the early 1990s, was an All-Star in 1999, and was an outfielder for many great Atlanta Braves teams in the 1990s.

I wanted to share a autographed item with you... of renowned photographer and painter Chuck Close, whom, although he suffered a severe spinal artery collapse in 1988 which left him paralyzed from the neck down, continues his artistic quest.

I met Close and secured his autograph on two event programs back on May 29, 2008 when he was awarded the Columbia University Health Sciences Adivisory Council Medal for his stem cell research advocacy. At the time I was the videographer of the occasion. To sign for me, he held the marker I handed to him between the palms of his hands.

The reason I bring this to your attention now is because Close is presently in the national spotlight/ in the news. He and other artists and estate of artist Robert Graham have filed two class-action suits against the New York outlets of Christie's and Sotheby's for allegedly violating the 1977 California Resale Royalty Act.

I'm not going to go into any details about the suit, and hope things do get resolved, but it was a pleasure to met Chuck Close when I did.
