I was able to get The Grass Roots Rob Grill to sign a few items after seeing him in concert. An awsome signer!

I was asked once by Jon what I was gonna get for the records that I would like him to sign. When I didn't answer him, he looked at the record and saw that it was the 12" copy of Miracle (From one of his solo albums.) He then signed it with the biggest and nicest autograph I have ever seen.

I know it's much harder to get Bon Jovi today. Back in 1991 I was able to get 8 albums signed by the entire group. One of my friend got 60 (Yes sixty!!!) albums signed by Jon. But she was staying at the same hotell as the group.

The good thing with Bon Jovi is that they sell autographed items on their website and also sold signed copies of their last album through FYE.

I agree I met them this year also they are horrible to their fans. Jon Bon Jovi told one of my friens to go F&$% Themselves. Which no one could believe. At least you got Richie he laghed at us after Jon said that. We got no one. However the hotel they were at is not the greatest either! I got more autographs from the Rolling Stones a few years back, now that is saying something! Until next time Keep Graphin!!!!!!!

Less than 24 hours ago I had one of the nicest in-person experiences I've ever had. I met Ane Brun. Ane Brun is a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist originally from Norway. Since 2000 she has lived in Stockholm, Sweden (http://www.anebrun.com).
Ane has been touring with Peter Gabriel and played at the Hollywood Bowl Friday night. But she had a solo show on Saturday at the Largo in L.A. I knew I had a good chance to get her to sign after the show but I had no photos and I contacted her record company to no avail. So since I'm in the business of doing digital imaging I created my own 8x10 promo and printed out 10 copies, (see image below). She performed for an hour and a half for about 60 of us. At shows end she said she was going to be signing after the show in the lobby. With that open invitation the meeting was set. Well, she was as sweet as her voice, even nicer. When I showed her the promos I created I could tell she was baffled. She asked were I got these and I said that I had to create them because I could not get or find photos of her. She than said that I was very creative and signed 6 photos for me. I gave her the remaining 4 as a gift for her, along with some other gifts. She was very appreciative and sincere. It all happened so fast that I regret not spending more time with her but there were other people waiting to meet her.
I've enclosed some links to see her on You-Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTSvZ_VlF5s&feature=related and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eYaq358LRQ

Neil Young can be a tough signer. You have to catch him in a good mood and not in a crowd. Then he can sign one autograph. I have met him 5 times and only once he decided to sign two autographs for me. (The reason for that was that I had a record of him and Willie Nelson, that Willie already have signed and also a solo record of Mr Young.)
