Did you see that Kasey Kahne will be signing at the new Ollies store in Hickory on Oct. 21st. Thought you might want to know ( T. Martin ) since you live close to me... Tom

Great tip!
Getting Jimmie Johnson is a big deal!

The trick is, if you don't catch a ticket, wait behind the trailer at the door, you can catch them when they are finished easy. They ALWAYS sign, in hurry but they sign. The schedules are designed to spread the fans out as much as possible.

Jimmie Johnson does make regular autograph and speaking appearances at the Lowe's fan tent ( Not the hospitality tent ). It is usually located near the Toyota, Chevy, and Home Depot set-ups.

The Speed Stage is a good place to catch drivers too forthe Trackside appearances. Sometimes they sign before their appearances.

The super stars such as Dale, Jr., Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson will not make an appearance at their souvenir haulers. The Penske team drivers usually show up including, Kurt Busch, Sam Hornish, Jr., Justin Allgaier and David Stremme. But for us autograph seekers, it is still fun to try to be in two places at the same time. Most of the signings are at the same time, so running from line to line is always a challenge.

You are correct!! However, please understand that not many of the "Top Tier" drivers do these signings. Usually, they are usually
Kurt Busch, Jowey Logano, Kasey Kahne, Casey Mears, Robby Gordon, Michael waltrip, Scott Speed, Brian Vickers, AJ Allmendinger, Reed sorenson, & David Reagan.. Sometimes other drivers set-up signing times on the morning of the race day or after Qualifying.

Sometimes the websites do update this information ( look in the forum sections )

There is usually pre-signed items on hand for these and other drivers as well. however, sometimes they do sell out.

At each NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup race the drivers have merchandise haulers located outside the track. Many drivers will make appearances at their hauler the day before and day-of the race. These appearance are typically not announced on web sites, but haulers will post white-boards with the day and time of the appearance. Some haulers will require you to get a (free) ticket the morning of the signing such as Kurt Busch and Sam Hornish, Jr.
Other drivers, such as Sprint Cup driver Robby Gordon, will simply cut the line off at a certain point. If you miss the driver, many haulers will have signed merchandise (hats and die-cast cars) for sale. These items are usually sold without a premium mark-up and they are authentic signatures.
I'll be going to the October 17 race to get some signatures!
