Thanks for your comments. I don't know much about sports, let alone 'autographs '. Perhaps I'll take it to a sports memorabilia show and see what they have to say.

It's a very easy piece to sell, if that's what you'd like to do. It will sell for more authenticated by PSA/DNA, JSA or Beckett, but that runs about $100. As long as the photo is in nice shape, it shouldn't be hard to sell.

Does it have a COA? If so, post it please.

Hi Steve. I don't have a certificate of any type. All I have is the item itself. As I mentioned, I don't know much about sports (if anything, to be quite frank). I searched online and found this site - thought that sports enthusiasts might be able to assist. That said, any idea what it's worth in today's market? Any suggestions where I might go to sell if I decide to do so? I'm in no hurry to receive an answer- give me a shout when it's convenient for you. Thanks!

Hi Kelly,

You don't need a COA or to have an authentication company certify it to sell it. If the photo is in nice shape, I think you could sell it for $150-$200 without certification.

We have a free buy/sell/trade group where you can post good photos of it and ask for offers, or price it yourself:

Hey Kelly. How much would you be looking for it if it's still available?

Hi Justin. Thanks for your interest. I haven't looked into anything - the only 'guesstimate' of value was from Steve (see previous comments above). He said he thought it would sell for $150-$200 without certificate. I live in Sacramento, CA - a friend suggested I take it to a sports show and ask collectors there. I haven't had time to research anything.

No worries it would prob be a smart idea to get a somewhat professional opinion. But just be careful. A lot of shady people in the sports memorabilia/autograph business. Watch out for someone talking it down to you then offering to take it for cheap. I wouldn't put it past someone to do that. If they do u know it's probly real lol
