I think the ´92 Clapton is genuine.

Is it possible to fix smudged or faded autographs...on a regular 8x10 photo or on an guitar, for example?
Who would be doing this service and how much would it cost?
And would a single fixed autograph be less valuable? How about on an item with multiple signatures?
